Master Ron Hickey

Rank and Status: 

Master Ron Hickey is the holder of the rank of 7^th Degree Black Belt in Taekwando. He is currently administrating the T.K.D. program at the College Hill Recreational Center. His ranking has been certified by the World Taekwando Federation, United States Taekwando Won.

Martial Arts History: 

Master Hickey is a quality martial artist who began his training in 1973 under then Master Kyongwon Ahn at the College Hill School in Tang Soo Do from 1973 - 1978. He obtained his 1^st and 2^nd Degree Black Belt while studying Tang Soo Do. In 1978 or there about Master Ahn was making a transition to Taekwando and had already changed his certificates to reflect the coming change. In 1976 while still training in Tang Soo Do he became an instructor and continued instructing through the transition to Taekwando. He continued his study and training under Grandmaster Ahn rising to 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th, 6^th, and 7^th Degree Black Belt in the years 1978 through 2004.
